What would I build with it?

It is aimed at web and mobile apps that need a backend without you standing up separate database, auth and storage services. You point your front end at its API and start building.

Do I have to write server code?

Not to get started — collections, rules and users are managed from the admin interface. PocketBase can be extended in code when you need behaviour it does not cover.

Can it use my SonicBit storage?

Yes. Your Drive is mounted into the app, so files it handles can live in your own cloud storage.

Does PocketBase need a Performance slot?
