About Radarr

Radarr is a movie collection manager for Usenet and BitTorrent users. It can monitor multiple RSS feeds for new movies and will interface with clients and indexers to grab, sort, and rename them. It can also be configured to automatically upgrade the quality of existing files in the library when a better quality format becomes available. Note that only one type of a given movie is supported. If you want both an 4k version and 1080p version of a given movie you will need multiple instances.

What does Radarr actually do?

Radarr manages your movie library: you add the films you want, it finds them, hands them to your download client, then renames and sorts the files automatically.

Can Radarr use the SonicBit seedbox as its download client?

Yes — connect it from Radarr's download-client settings. Completed downloads arrive in your Drive and Radarr takes it from there.

How is Radarr different from Sonarr?

Radarr is for movies, Sonarr is for TV series. They share the same design and work well side by side on the same Drive.

Does Radarr work with my media server?

Yes. Radarr organizes files on the same mounted storage Plex, Jellyfin or Emby read from, so your library updates on the next scan.
