A seedbox is a remote server, rented in a data centre, that downloads and uploads torrents on your behalf at gigabit speeds — then hands you the finished files over a normal HTTPS download. Your home connection never touches the swarm.

Two honest caveats, because raw port speed is the number providers advertise and it's the one that misleads.
