FAQ

What happens to my remaining days if I switch plans?

Your remaining days convert to the new plan by value, minus a 6% conversion fee — not one-for-one. A pricier plan costs more per day, so the same balance becomes fewer days. For example, a year of Basic converts to roughly 4½ months of Voltrix, because Voltrix costs about 2.5× more per day. Your expiry date can arrive much sooner than the calendar time you originally bought.

When you use Switch using days on the Upgrade page, the converted day count is shown before you confirm — check it there. The same conversion applies if you simply buy a different plan while your current one is still running, but it isn't previewed at checkout. Some plans also need a minimum number of days remaining before you can switch. When you don't have enough left, the Switch using days link is replaced by a note telling you the threshold.

On an auto-renewing card subscription? Cancel it before you switch (see below) — otherwise your next charge puts you back on the plan you originally subscribed to.

Subscribed through the SonicBit mobile app? Apple and Google own your subscription, so change plans in the store — a switch made here is reset at your next renewal.
