What does Jackett actually do?

Jackett acts as a translator between your apps and torrent indexers: Sonarr or Radarr send it one standard search, and Jackett queries the indexers you've configured and returns the results.

How do I use Jackett with Sonarr or Radarr?

Install Jackett, add your indexers in its dashboard, then paste the Torznab feed and API key it gives you into Sonarr or Radarr. Each indexer becomes searchable from inside those apps.

Jackett or Prowlarr — which should I install?

Both work on SonicBit. Prowlarr is the newer approach and syncs indexers into your apps for you; Jackett is the classic choice if an indexer you need is only supported there.

Does Jackett need a Performance slot?

No — Jackett is one of the lightest apps in the store and runs in a regular app slot included with your plan.
