Download only some files — skip episodes you don't want
A season pack often holds episodes you already have. You don't have to take all of them — you can choose exactly which files download, and SonicBit skips the rest entirely. They never use your space and never touch your speed.
There are two ways to do it. Choosing before you add is the better one, because skipped files are never downloaded at all.
Before you add — the best way
Open Add download, then click the .torrent button and pick the file from your device.
The torrent's name appears with something like "24 files · Select what to download" underneath. Click that line to open the file list.
Untick the episodes you don't need, then save. The line updates to show your choice — for example "6 of 24 files selected".
Click Download. Only the files you ticked are fetched.
A magnet link doesn't carry a file list until the torrent has started and fetched its details, so there's nothing to choose from yet. Add it, then use the method below. If you have the choice, adding the .torrent file instead lets you decide up front.
After it's added
You can change your mind at any time, including part-way through a download.
On the Seedbox page, click the torrent's name. The row expands to show every file inside it.
Every file has a priority control:
- Skip — don't download this one. If it has already partly downloaded, it stops.
- Normal — the default.
- High — finish this one first, ahead of the others.
There's nothing to save and no need to restart your seedbox. Skipped files stop straight away and the progress figures adjust to count only what you're actually keeping.
Good to know
Large season packs hold hundreds of files, and building that list can take up to a minute — especially while the torrent is downloading hard. If it doesn't appear, use Try again; your files are safe either way.
Skipping stops a file downloading, but anything already written stays on your drive until you delete it. If you skipped files to free up space, remove them from My Drive as well.
You can only upload what you actually hold. A torrent with skipped files will never reach 100%, so it seeds only the parts you kept — worth knowing if you're building ratio on a private tracker.
